19th September 2020 – 10 January 2021
The Society of British Theatre Designers (SBTD) supports and celebrates the work of performance designers based in the UK.
Staging Places aims to celebrate the diversity of performance design created by practitioners based throughout the UK working locally, nationally and internationally.
Working with Andreas Skourtis (Exhibition Designer), Eva Auster (AV Designer) and Paul Burgess (Digital Gallery Designer), Fiona has curated the physical exhibition of the work of 30 designers made between 2015 and 2019, which was previously resident at the V&A, London, and programmed a series of supporting talks and events.
Staging Places Studio, a smaller iteration of the exhibition generated by the same team represented the UK at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space in June 2019.
Staging Places runs at NCCD until 10th January 2021
