A theatre production for children aged 5+, made specifically for performing in libraries.

Big Sister Little Brother is a funny, fast-paced retelling of The Emperor’s New Clothes by Mike Kenny.

Two poor tailors share their story about the time they met a big-headed Emperor, a foolish minister and an exquisite Empress and how they persuaded them they could weave magical garments. When everything goes horribly wrong, they start to blame each other.

Touring Leicester, Leicestershire, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and Rutland Libraries as part of Among Ideal Friends throughout December 2016.

Big Sister Little Brother

Rita and Archie. two poor tailors, are coming to the library this Christmas to share their story about the time they met a big-headed Emperor, a foolish minister and an exquisite Empress and how they persuaded them they could weave magical garments. When everything goes horribly wrong, they start to blame each other.

This funny, fast-paced story of two squabbling siblings retells the classic Emperor’s New Clothes with a brilliant twist.
