Steve trained and worked in architecture before moving into theatre design.
Over the last decade he has worked extensively in theatre and dance, designing for a range of main stage, touring and site-specific productions, as well as large-scale community theatre, TIE, youth theatre and educational projects with companies across the UK.
Recent work includes Unspoken Agreement, Beginnings and Tough Love for Diversions Dance Company; The Crucible, The Good Person of Szechuan and Little Shop of Horrors for the Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal, Bath; Dancing at Lughnasa and Gut Girls for Mountview Theatre School; Jane Eyre, NothingCompares 2 U and Moll Flanders for the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, where he holds a part-time lecturing post.
