Nick is an innovative and experienced lighting designer with recent training in architectural lighting.
Since 1985 he has been in a design partnership providing integrated lighting, set and costume designs for a wide range of theatre spaces and performance with designer Jane Linz Roberts.
He was Resident Lighting Designer at the Albany Empire 1988-1990 and the Sherman Theatre, 1991-1993. Free-lance work includes productions for New Victoria, Stoke; Tara Arts; Leicester Haymarket; Fiction Factory; Theatr Clwyd; Y Cwmni; Queens Theatre, Hornchurch; Plainclothes Productions, Cornelius & Jones (puppet theatre); Opera Milton Keynes and the Royal Opera House.
International work includes productions in Italy, the Ukraine, Germany, Denmark and Australia.
