Ian Teague
Ian has been working as a designer since 1982. His design projects include main house rep shows, community plays, educational theatre, small-scale touring and, site-specific work. In total over 130 productions. He is also an experienced workshop leader and lecturer.
His main interests are devised theatre, designing for new writing and young peoples theatre.
Projects include Romeo and Juliet - National Theatre Education Department, Pretend Families - Spare Tyre, Up Out O’ The Sea - Eastern Angles, Or am I Alone - Cardboard Citizens, The Farm - New Perspectives, Peter Pan – Polka Theatre, Mrs Beetons History of The World – Oxfordshire Touring and The Woman Who Cooked - MakeBelieve Arts.
In 2003 his designs for small cast productions of Shakespeare formed part of the British entry at the Prague Quadrennial Exhibition of Scenography which won the prestigious Golden Triga award for best overall exhibit.
