Drawing inspiration from many sources, Helen challenges the imagination and power of the stage with careful consideration to light, colour and shape taking an open and often playful approach to telling a story.
She graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Design in 1995. From 1996 to 2001 she was Resident Designer at the College Street Arts Centre, Nottingham.
Now freelance, she has designed shows for main stage, touring, site specific and young peoples theatre.
