In both contemporary and classic work she responds to each writer's unique use of language, endeavouring to design environments that offer directors and actors space to explore.
Her credits include work for Nottingham Playhouse, the Traverse, Jerwood Theatre Upstairs, Royal Court, Lyric Belfast, Bolton Octagon, the Tron, Palace Theatre, Watford and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Outlying Islands (Traverse) won a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival before transferring to the Royal Court and the World Stages Festival Toronto.
She also has extensive touring experience that has included UK and Highlands and Islands tours for the Traverse, regional tours for Eastern Angles and education tours for Nottingham Roundabout and Theatr Clywd.
She has exhibited her work at Time and Space (RCA) and 2D>3D (Sheffield Millenium Galleries and UK tour) and Collaborators: Design for Performance (Nottingham Trent University).
